Romans are invading Wales this summer but there’s no need to head for the hills – it’s all part of a series of fun, family events hosted by Cadw, the Welsh Government’s historic environment service.
Visitors are being encouraged to travel thousands of years back in time by reliving history and exploring the stories at some of Wales’s most iconic sites.
Activities themed around wildlife, literature and theatre ensure there is something for everyone in Cadw’s action-packed summer events catalogue.
As part of this, come and enjoy a unique evening of opera in the spectacular ruins of Raglan Castle, as exciting young company, Pop-up Opera, perform Mozart's much loved comic opera, Cosi fan Tutte.
Bring your picnic rug and enjoy beautiful music, hilarious comedy, and a totally unique experience of opera. Unlike in a traditional opera house, Pop-up Opera adapt their acclaimed productions to each space they perform in, and interaction between cast and audience makes for an exciting evening of high quality entertainment, in an amazing setting. All ages welcome!
The Pop Up Opera takes place on July 18 between 19:30 - 22:30
Prices Adult - £15 Family - £40 Senior citizens, students and children under 16 - £10
