SOUTH Wales Police have appealed for help in identifying a man who is in hospital after being thrown from his bike yesterday.
The incident happened on St. Augustines Road in Penarth, but police are appealing to people across South Wales to help identify him.
The cyclist is white, around 25 to 30 years of age, six feet tall, of slim build with short brown curly hair and is unshaven with a short moustache.
He has a sizeable ‘scab’ on his left elbow which appears fairly recent.
He is wearing a ‘MUDDY FOX’ cycling top with the letters ‘MFX’ on the bottom, black in colour with grey and red on the sides, ‘NIKE’ running shorts navy in colour with white on the sides and ‘NIKE’ running trainers black in colour.
He was wearing a ‘TRAX’ brand cycling helmet grey and black in colour and the bicycle is described as a ‘GLOBE’ brand hybrid pedal cycle old and batterred looking silver in colour.
Any persons who witnessed the incident or may know the identity of this cyclist is asked to contact South Wales Police on 101 quoting incident number 669.
