THE biker who died in last night's crash in Cwmbran has been named.
Quinton Arnesen, 41 from Risca, died after the bike he was riding on Cwmbran Drive crashed at around 7.40pm last night.
The 19-year-old man from Pontypool who was a passenger was taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital in Newport with serious injuries.
Fire crews from Maindee, Malpas, and Duffryn, attended the scene of the crash at 7.46pm and left the scene around 8.30pm.

A MAN died in a motorbike crash in Cwmbran last night.
The biker died in a collision on the A4051, Cwmbran Drive at around 7.40pm, while a passenger on the bike was taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital in Newport with serious injuries.
The road was closed between B&Q and the Parkway roundabout, near Cwmbran Stadium. The road has since reopened.
Gwent Police are appealing for anyone with information to call 101 quoting log 502/23/2014.
