An hour-long performance by organ duo Robert Court and Jeffrey Howard in Four Hands, Four Feet, featured a variety of styles ranging from Mozart symphonies to John Williams' film themes on Tuesday lunchtime.
The pair introduced each piece in an engaging and humorous style, as they used the St David's Organ, an electronic organ and piano plus technology and i-pads to wonderful effect.
Saint-Seans' Dance Macabre made an impressive opening, immediately capturing the audience's attention, and the ghostly theme continued with wails and flashing lights before the duo launched into Mozart's unmistakeable Symphony No 40.
Other highlights included their intricate fingerwork (made accessible on a large screen) on Wesley's Fugue From Duet for Organ, with its huge finishing C major chord - then film themes from On Golden Pond created a more tranquil mood.
The grand finale duet was the well-known march from Raiders of the Lost Ark, by John Williams - there really was something for everyone.
The organists interchanged between the instruments, demonstrating their versatility, they also must have had high fitness levels with their frequent dashes from the piano on stage to the higher level magnificent pipe organ!
This programme flowed seamlessly, with a well-chose selection of pieces from different eras and was much appreciated by the enthusiastic audience.
