TWO men have been arrested after disorder on a Newport street involving two men - one carrying a chainsaw and the other a hammer.
The incident happened on Cromwell Road at around 10pm on Monday 21 July and residents reported their concerns about the men's behaviour. No-one was injured.
The pair, one aged 32 from Newport and the other aged 19 from Cwmcarn, have been arrested on suspicion of affray and being in possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
Police are now appealing for information about the incident.
One of the men drove off in a burgundy coloured van and the other drove off in a white van.
