A SENIOR nurse sacked after allegedly groping a colleague was given a job at his sister’s care home in the same month, a Nursing and Midwifery Council panel heard yesterday.
Robert Phillips allegedly touched the woman inappropriately as he gave her an oil massage during a night shift.
The nurse is also alleged to have groped and insulted his colleague in a laundry room.
He was dismissed last year but Glaslyn care home run by his sibling Beverley Evans took him on.
Phillips faces eight allegations of misconduct relating to incidents that allegedly happened at the Dan-y-Bryn Unit and Carn-y-Cefn Mental Health Acute Unit in Ebbw Vale between 2009 and October 2010 and between October 2010 and February 2013 respectively.
