GWENT Police are appealing for information after an assault outside a pub in Newport city centre.
The attack happened outside the Greyhound pub on High Street, Newport at around 11.30pm on Sunday, May 4.
A man walking out out of the pub was approached by another man who then punched him in the face, causing the victim to fall to the floor. The victim needed treatment at the Royal Gwent Hospital for facial injuries.
