AS IF a visit from the most powerful man in the world wasn't enough, Rogerstone's Mount Pleasant Primary School has made it to the homepage of the White House website today.
US President Barack Obama came to the school yesterday before going to the Nato summit at the Celtic Manor.
Hundreds of people lined the streets of the village along the motorcade route as Barack Obama and David Cameron paid a quick visit to the Newport school.
The visit was the result of a letter sent to the White House and an appeal on Twitter sent by the Deputy Headmaster.
The world's media descended on the Newport primary, including the BBC's Nick Robinson who broadcast from a neighbouring house's garage roof.
