WHO CARES? WE CARE! Who Cares? We Care! is a free all-girls group who provide art and crafts, trips and numerous other activities. The group runs on a Wednesday evening between 5.30pm and 7.30pm at Pill Mill and is now aimed at girls aged 11 years and over. Contact Michelle (07979043928) or Cheryl (07982738436).
FEBRUARY HALF-TERM ACTIVITIES PROGRAMME: Throughout the February half-term (19-23) the Pill Millennium Centre has arranged a number of activities.
Monday, February 19: Football 10am-2pm for 8-12 years; volleyball 3pm-4pm for 5-19 years.
Tuesday, February 20: Rugby 10am-2pm for 8-12 years; netball 3pm-4pm for 10-19 years.
Wednesday, February 21: Archery 10am-2pm for 8-12 years; dodgeball 3pm-4pm for 10-19 years.
Thursday, February 22: Basketball 10am-2pm for 8-12 years; racket sports 3pm-4pm for 5-18 years.
Friday, February 23: Kwik cricket 10am-noon for 8-12 years; dance noon-2pm for 8-12 years; multi-sports 3pm-4pm for 5-18 years.
Also, every day between 10am and 3.30pm there will be a Playscheme aimed at children aged between 8 and 12 years.
All activities at Pill Millennium Centre are free. Lunch will be between noon and 12.30pm. You will need to provide a packed lunch as food is not provided.

PILL MILLENNIUM CENTRE: The Pill Millennium Centre Trust is pleased to announce that it will soon be taking on five new part-time recreational assistants, plus they will also be starting two film club co-ordinators to run a film club and to provide for activities within the community.
There will be an opportunity for people to engage in video workshops and take part in producing a film on life in Pill.
Further to this, people can learn about film production and take part in developing a film club and screening regular shows at the centre.
The trust would like to thank the work done by the Communities First team to enable this to happen. The Millennium Centre hope to be running extra courses in the community such as cooking, computer classes, childcare and languages.

There are a number of services available at the centre including Job Centre Plus, Sure Start, Home Start, Sport Train, Sunshine Club and many others.
Clive Thompson, the new trust development manager, would like to thank all partner organisations and committee of the centre for their commitment to providing services to the community in Pill, and would welcome people who wish to volunteer at the centre or in and around the community. COMMUNITY CAFE: Jayne Lewis has taken over the Community Café at Pill Millennium Centre. So, pop over and enjoy a nice cup of tea/coffee, etc, and light meals. It's open 10am-7pm, and is an ideal meeting-place for you and your friends.
The Community Centre has lots of activities going on. Support the centre, it's there for you. Outside catering is also available for funerals, christenings, weddings, business conferences, etc. Call in and speak to Jayne.
