The Five Villages - Brynawel, Cwmfelinfach, Wattsville, Wyllie, Ynysddu Wattsville Pavilion Repairs: A leak in the roof has meant disruption for classes at the pavilion over the past few weeks.
However, it has now been repaired and the activities are back to normal.
Mondays it is keep fit with the adult aerobics class from 7pm to 8pm.
On Tuesdays there is the youth dance class with Danielle from 4.30pm to 5.30pm and drama class again with Danielle from 5.30pm until 6.30pm - we will be looking forward to their first performance at Easter.
The kids' club is on Thursdays between 6pm and 8pm. They are a great bunch of kids but the youth leaders could do with a helping hand.

Crossroads Luncheon Club: Caerphilly Crossroads runs a weekly luncheon club for people with the onset of dementia at the Alexandra Road Complex in Ynysddu.
All who attend are picked up by the Crossroads transport and thoroughly enjoy their weekly visit.
There are lots of activities and the members of the club enjoy joining in with a quiz, arts and crafts, bingo, music and dance. Lunch is provided for everyone.
Crossroads also runs luncheon clubs four days a week at different venues throughout the borough.

Ynysddu Floodlights: The Youth Club is very pleased to see the long awaited floodlights are being installed on the multi use games area, which is situated behind Ynysddu Primary School.
The Friends of Ynysddu Youth is a committee made up of youth club workers and local residents who have worked very hard to support the young people of the village and it was their perseverance in seeking funding that made the lighting possible.
A big "thank you" goes to those organisations that have pledged to help pay the yearly electricity bill for the lights, The Progressive Club, Ynysddu Rugby Club, Sardis Community Centre and Crusaders.
It was a real community effort to deliver this project.
CYT Care Home events and activities: Steve Adams, the activities coordinator at Craig Y Trwyn Care Home in Brynawel, is busy organising spring and summer events.
The residents are looking forward to an Easter Bonnet Parade in April and are also decorating their Easter Eggs.
They have formed a residents' committee to organise their summer fete, which they hope to hold in the last week of June or the first week of July.
Police Ward Officers to hold surgeries: PC 1098 Becky Hudd and PCSO Colin Davies are due to hold their weekly surgeries at the Cwmfelinfach Police Station on Maindee Road, Cwmfelinfach.
The surgeries run between 5pm and 7pm every Wednesday evening and they are open to everyone.

Wings to Fly: Ynysddu and Cwmfelinfach Primary Schools Year 6 pupils took a trip to Blackwood Institute recently to see the anti-drugs play Wings to Fly.
The play is funded by the Safer Caerphilly County Borough and Blackwood Crime Prevention Panel and aims to raise children's awareness of the harmful effects of drug, alcohol and substance abuse.
The schools liaison officers gave a talk at the end of the play and will be following up with visits around the schools.
New play equipment: Youngsters in Cwmfelinfach are celebrating after the Community Hall Committee helped to secure a kick wall and youth shelter.
The new facilities have been erected in a tarmac area close to the Community Hall and Geoff Cox, leader of Cwmfelinfach Youth Club says they have already been a big hit with young people.
The Youth Club meets twice a week in the Community Hall.
An enthusiastic bunch of volunteers keep the club open on Thursdays from 6.25pm to 8.45pm.
On Saturdays the age ranges split, with the younger children having their own allotted time between 5pm and 6pm.
From 6pm onwards the older children take over.
