THE second election hustings to take place in Abergavenny in a week will be held on Wednesday at St Mary’s Priory Centre in Monk Street.
Organised by Abergavenny Council of Churches, the six candidates will debate issues most important to voters in the town.
Those who have confirmed their attendance are Gareth Dunn, Ukip; Jonathan Clark, Plaid Cymru; David Davies, Conservative; Ruth Jones, Labour; Veronica German, Liberal Democrat; and Christopher Were, Green.
The English Democrat candidate, Jenny Knight, has been invited to attend but it is not known whether she will be there.
The event will start at 7pm. It follows an occasionally heated hustings, organised by the Bryn-y-Cwm Community Forum, held at The Angel Hotel last Wednesday.
