A NEWPORT talent show was another success this year with dozens of youngsters taking park in the lively event on Friday.
The show ‘Who’s Got Talent part 2’ held at the Newport YMCA, saw young people aged between seven and 21 go through an audition process at the centre on April 7 before performing in the show on April 10 in front of parents, friends and members of the community.
Newport YMCA, is the oldest voluntary youth organisation in Newport, and aims to improve the life of the city’s young people.
Arif Hussain, the youth work co-ordinator for the Newport YMCA and the local area said this year's event had followed on from last year, which set new standards for entries.
“Last year’s Who’s Got Talent was a huge success much beyond our expectations, so this year we [were] expecting the same or hopefully even better.
“Thank you for all your support last year and [for your support] again this year, it is a fantastic opportunity for the young people in Newport and your help is much appreciated.”
