A 38-year-old man was taken to hospital with head injuries following a crash involving four cars and a lorry on Llanthewy Road, Newport yesterday.
The injured man, who was the driver of one of the cars, is not believed to have life-threatening injuries following the incident which happened just before 3.30pm.
Gwent Police and the Welsh Ambulance Service attended the incident and partially closed the road for a short time to recover the vehicles. The road has since re-opened.
