TWO men have been charged after a man was attacked in Tredegar.
The two men, aged 21 and 20 and both from Tredegar, have been charged with joint enterprise section 18 wounding with intent as well as perverting the course of justice.
The 20-year-old man has also been charged with possession of an offensive weapon.
A man suffered stab wounds following the incident which happened in Commercial Street, Tredegar, at around 4.20am on Friday, April 17.
The injured man, aged 31 and from Tredegar, suffered a puncture wound to his back and a cut under his arm.
He remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.
The two men charged have been remanded in custody and are now due to appear before Newport Magistrates Court tomorrow.
