TWO men appeared at Newport Magistrates Court today (Mon) charged with wounding with intent and perverting the course of justice following an incident in Tredegar.
Kieron Saunders, 20, of Sycamore Avenue in Tredegar, is charged with wounding with intent; perverting the course of justice and possessing an offensive weapon in a public place on April 17 this year.
Ieuan Warburton, 21, of Gainsborough Road, Tredegar, is charged with wounding with intent and perverting the course of justice on April 17 this year.
The incident occurred in Commercial Street, Tredegar at approximately 4.20am on April 17.
The pair have not yet entered a plea for the charges and are now due to appear at Newport Crown Court on May 7.
