A MAN has been slapped with a 10-year ban from Blaina and Brynmawr pubs participating in a scheme to cut crime and abusive behaviour towards customers and staff.
The Blaina man, who has not been named, has been barred following criminal damage at The Bush Inn in March.
There are 25 pubs which form part of Brynmawr PubWatch and Blaina PubWatch, which all promote safe and responsible drinking.
PubWatch gives licensees the chance to share best practice and provides a forum for Gwent Police to understand issues and problems.
CSO Joanne Robins says: “Hopefully these sort of bans will remind people that this type of behaviour will not be tolerated in pubs in Brynmawr and positive action will be taken.”
