Refuse fire on Corporation Road, Newport 'deliberate'
A refuse fire was deliberately lit on Corporation Road, Newport, just before 6pm last night. A spokeswoman for the South Wales Fire and Rescue Service said a crew from Maindee Station attended and put out the fire.
In another incident, youths were seen deliberately setting grass on fire in a football field near Darby Crescent in Ebbw Vale last night just after 7.30pm. Fire crew used beaters to put out the blaze.
