FIVE teenage girls had to be rescued from a glass lift in Cwmbran shopping centre on Sunday, a fire service spokeswoman said.
Jennie Griffiths, head of control for South Wales Fire and Rescue, said the lift jammed at 3.30pm and firefighters had to come to the girls’ aid.
