The incident happened on the A449 between the A472 Usk Interchange and the A40 Raglan Interchange.

Three cars on the northbound side are waiting to be recovered, having hit the debris and the lorry is on the southbound side of the A449.

Traffic is busy but moving while one lane remains closed in both directions due to four broken down vehicles and a shed load of concrete blocks, following the incident which involved a lorry and recovery work.

ONE lane is closed on the A449 between Usk and Raglan following an incident involving a lorry and a shed load.
A Gwent Police spokeswoman said one lane is closed in both directions between the Usk interchange and Raglan Castle.
