A spokeswoman from South Wales Fire and Rescue said a crew from Cwmbran was at the scene and that two sheds had been "severely damaged" with another three damaged. Fencing also has been affected.

FIREFIGHTERS are tackling a blaze which destroyed sheds and fencing on Maendy Way in Pontnewydd this morning.
Eyewitness Jan Littlewood said the fire broke out at the back of 12 Maendy Way and destroyed three sheds and fencing. Firefighters arrived within minutes she added.
