MOST people in Wales are satisfied with the care they get from their GP, most primary school children walk to school and 78% of households have had their dogs micro-chipped.

These are just some of the findings of a survey of adults across Wales that has been published today.

The survey showed that over 90% of people in Wales are satisfied with the care they get from the NHS although the figure dips to 79% satisfaction with the time they had to wait an ambulance to arrive.

People were split on the prospect of prosperity for Wales with 31% of people saying in 25 years’ time the standard of living in Wales will be worse than today and 31% saying it would be better.

The report threw up some bad news for Gwent with Torfaen having the lowest satisfaction with recycling services and Blaenau Gwent having the lowest level of satisfaction for a council in Wales.
