UPDATE: Gwent Police said the injured woman remains in a 'serious' but stable condition.
A WOMAN was air-lifted to hospital with 'serious injuries' after a road traffic collision on Red Hill between Usk and Raglan on Wednesday night (June 10).
A Gwent Police spokesman said the 27-year-old woman from Usk remains in a "serious but stable" condition at the University Hospital of Wales.
The woman was assessed by a doctor at the scene and taken to hospital by the air ambulance.
Two rapid response cars and an emergency ambulance also attended the incident involving one vehicle.
A South Wales Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the woman had serious injuries and was airlifted to the University Hospital of Wales.
A fire service spokesman said they extricated a woman from a vehicle after it left the roadway.
Crews from Malpas and Usk attended the scene.
No other vehicles were involved in the collision.
The incident was first reported at 6pm and the road was reopened at around 10.20pm.
Police are appealing for witnesses with anyone with information urged to call 101 quoting log number 396 10/06/2015
