A NEWPORT infant school are delighted after achieving the top eco award recognising ten years of hard work.
Milton Infants School are celebrating after achieving the Platinum Eco Award for their work in multiple projects across the school.
The eco committee, led by teacher Marie Wells, is made up of 12 year two members aged six and seven who have been hard at work recycling, and hatching chickens from eggs as well as carrying out a variety of other eco activities.
Head teacher Sue Wilson is delighted with the schools success.
“We are absolutely thrilled,” she said.
“It is the culmination of embedded eco work carried out for many years.”
