A FASHION design student from Caldicot has showcased her work at London’s Graduate Fashion Week.
Lowri Edwards, 22, saw her collection on the catwalk at the event which was attended by stellar names in the fashion industry including designer Victoria Beckham.
Miss Edwards was among 15 students at De Montfort University Leicester (DMU)’s prestigious Fashion Design course to be chosen to take part.
The event gives the students an unrivalled platform from which to showcase their creativity and move into the fashion industry.
Miss Edwards created a collection called the Comfort of Nostalgia, using bedding as clothing.
More than 30,000 guests attended, including designers Victoria Beckham, Gareth Pugh and Mary Katrantzou, fashion director Hilary Alexander OBE and fashion photographer Nick Knight OBE.
The judges quizzed each student about their work, research and gave their opinions on the designs and ideas behind each piece.
