A CAR that was deemed unroadworthy has been seized by police in Ebbw Vale.
The car, parked in James Street near the town centre, was seen by Community Support Officers on the Community Tasking Unit.
The driver admitted to driving without insurance, the vehicle was then seized and the driver was issued with a Traffic Offence Report (TOR) by a Traffic Officer.
The vehicle was deemed not road worthy due to the condition of the tyres, as the driver could have easily lost control and caused injury or a fatality
A police spokesman said: "If you drive on damaged or worn tyres you are at risk of both invalidating your car insurance policy and putting yourself and other drivers and road users in danger."
