M4 lane blocked in Newport after crash at High Cross
UPDATE: 14.35pm
TWO people were taken to hospital after a crash on the M4 this afternoon.
The accident happened on the westbound carriageway near junction 28 shortly before 1.20pm.
One lane was blocked and the crash only involved one vehicle, according to Gwent Police.
A police spokeswoman said two women were taken to Royal Gwent Hospital "as a precaution" adding the vehicle was on the hard shoulder.

ONE lane is blocked and slow traffic reported due to a three-vehicle crash on the M4 westbound between J27 at High Cross and J28 at Tredegar Park, just after the High Cross turn-off.
Congestion is stretching back to J26 at Malpas Road. One lane is blocked by the accident.
