Car set alight on Newport driveway as family were in house
A CAR was set alight while parked on a driveway outside a house in Malpas.
The incident happened at around 12:10am on Wednesday on Graig Park Road.
A brick was also thrown through the first floor bedroom window of the house where there were four people in the house at the time - two adults and two children - although none were injured.
A vehicle was heard to speed away from the house and it is believed the vehicle the went to Malpas Road. Police do not know where it went from there.
