A NEWPORT film company is embarking on its latest project – a comedy web show which aims to feature local talent.
Lazulite Films, set up by University of South Wales film students Ashley Harris, 19, of Newport and Chris Saunders, 20, from Neath, has started filming Cheeky Pulp: Comedy Web-Series.
The company is looking for talented individuals to join its cast and crew for the five-episode series.
The pair are also crowdfunding on IndieGoGo to finance the project. So far 36 backers have pledged £1,140 of a £5,000 target.
Anyone who contributes £15 or more will get to take part in an exclusive sixth episode.
“Cheeky Pulp is a coming of age comedy about friends who attend a superhero university,” Mr Harris said.
“We are looking to get all types of people involved and make it a platform accessible to many creative people."
