HOAX: Fire crews were held up because of the call.
FIRE crews were held up for 15 minutes last night after receiving a hoax call reporting a fire in Tredegar.
A malicious caller falsely reported a fire in Cefn Golau, Tredegar, at 10.56pm preventing Tredegar crew from real emergencies for quarter of an hour, a South Wales Fire and Rescue spokeswoman said.
