A NEWPORT teen’s dream has come true after winning her latest pageant crown.
Rebecca Skinner, 13, from St Bride’s, Newport, has been crowned National Elite Miss Junior Teen 2015 after competing against six other finalists aged 12 to 15.
The charitable teen took part in the pageant in Blackpool on June 7 to raise money for charity Dream Queens- a charity which grants dreams to those affected through illness, disability or difficult times
Next Rebecca will take part in pageant Charity Heart for British Heart Foundation on September 13.
The teen, who had her hair done by The Elbow Room in Newport for the pageant, said the competition was looking for someone with model potential, a good catwalk and good stage presence.
“I won everything,” she said.
“I got best interview, best evening wear, best fashion, and was also crowned Miss Congeniality.”
The teen has already won UK Diamond last year and Miss Inspiration among others.
Mum Lisa Skinner said: “She has been doing them for about a year and a half now and does it because she really enjoys it.
“She really likes doing the charity ones and has raised money for WWF with the tigers and Bonnie Babies for premature babies.”
