AN ANTI-SOCIAL Tredegar teen has been given an Criminal Behaviour Order for his repeatedly bad behaviour.
Nineteen-year-old Jordan Llewellyn was handed the three year order on May 26 after repeated offences, including: public order, assault, vehicle crime, resisting arrest and general anti-social behaviour in the Tredegar and Ebbw Vale areas.
The orders give authorities another tool to deal with individuals who may behave in an anti-social way or be engaged in criminal activity.
The order replaces the old Criminal Anti-Social behaviour Order (CRASBO) and was given to Jordan Llewellyn with the following conditions to be adhered to in the Blaenau Gwent area:
• Not act or incite others to act in a manner that causes or is likely to cause harassment
• Alarm or distress one or more persons not of the same household
• Not in possession of an open container of alcohol in any public place or any place the public have access, unless when legitimately in a licensed premises
• Not be intoxicated in any public place or any place the public has access to
Blaenau Gwent Crime and Disorder Reduction Officer, PC Andy Green said: “We are committed to making Blaenau Gwent a safer place and enforcing this order is a part of that. We are pleased that this CBO has been given to give some relief to local residents.
“Anyone who sees Jordan Llewellyn breaching this order in any way can contact us straight away on 101 or in an emergency by dialling 999.”
