TWO children were rescued last night after they were trapped in a Morrisons supermarket lift in Cwmbran - the fourth time in nine months people have been trapped there.
Firefighters from Cwmbran were called to rescue the two children at around 6.21pm last night. It took one crew just over half an hour to release the pair and the two children walked free at 6.54pm.
It is the fourth time people have been trapped in the supermarket lift in nine months.
In October last year a man was trapped in the lift and then in January firefighters rescued two people who were again trapped.
The most recent incident was in March when two women had to be rescued.
Fire crews usually use lift keys to help a trapped person to get out.
