THE family of a man whose personality "would light up a room" have told of their heartbreak after he died in a crash near Newport.
Paul Mills, 41, from Ystrad Mynach, died after his Mitsubishi Lancer crashed on the A468 between Rhiwderin and Lower Machen on Saturday 26th September. He was taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital
In a statenenbt, his family said: "Paul was a devoted father of two young children who was at his happiest doing the school runs each day, taking bike rides with the children and watching family movies every Thursday.
"He also leaves his childhood sweetheart and partner of 25 years heartbroken, as well as all his family and friends. His personality would light up a room and he would always have a funny story or an interesting fact to share with everybody. He was kind, funny and very caring.
"We will forever miss and love him."
