It isn't every day that shoppers are told they can't buy plants from a garden centre.
However, a Homebase store in Newport has had to make that rule in order to not disturb two resident robins.
Staff have been caring for the birds, who have set up their home amongst a display of flowers.
The robins came to the Maesglas store last year, but were disturbed after a customer accidentally bought the plant they were nesting in.
Despite the disturbance, both robins have returned this year and have had five chicks.
Shop assistant Matthew Howells says that the birds have had a big audience.
He said: “People are coming in all the time just to see them and watch them hop around.
“There are five chicks in the nest now and hopefully they will be flying away soon.”
