Wedded Blis: Pauline Parker and Peter Bowman chose the beautiful renovated Sardis Chapel in Ynysddu for their wedding surrounded by family, friends and well-wishers.
The happy couple will shortly be going on holiday to Russia.
Both Pauline and Peter attend the art classes held in Sardis Ambulance Hall, Ynysddu and they decided to get married in the adjacent chapel once the dilapidated building had been renovated.
That day came on Saturday, May 26, in the chapel, which was filled with flowers.
Allen Powell, interim moderator of the chapel, officiated at the wedding and members of the congregation attended and joined in the celebrations.
It was indeed a very happy, lovely, relaxed occasion, truly enjoyed by all.

Charity Concert: St Theodore's Church rang to the sound of music when the Rotary Club of Pontllanfraith presented a charity concert with the Dowlais Male Voice Choir and soloist Jill Harris.
Jill, who lives in Ynysddu, thrilled the audience with a varied repertoire ranging from Handel and Ivor Novello to an Irish folk song.
Conductor David Last took the audience through such old favourites as Myfanwy, to songs made popular by Elvis Presley.
The sound of the choir in the old church was magnificent.
Pianist Darya Brill-Williams gave a wonderful performance accompanying both Jill and the choir.
Nigel Kaszubowski, president of the Rotary Club said it was a very successful evening, enjoyed by all who attended and which raised money for Breakthrough Beast Cancer and Cancer Research Wales.
This was the first time the Rotary Club has presented a concert in St Theodore's and it is eager to do so again.
After the concert the choir retired to Ynysddu Ruby Club.
Ken Thomas, chairman, said the singing did not finish with the concert - everyone in the club was treated to an impromptu performance and it was a fabulous evening.
A special thanks from the club goes to Spencer and Jennifer Harris for providing the buffet.
