HUNDREDS of children across Gwent celebrated what would have been Roald Dahl's 100th birthday by dressing up as their favourite characters from the Cardiff-born writer's books.
Staff and Year seven pupils at Chepstow School celebrated the day by dressing up as their favourite characters from the author’s books.
Lessons for pupils focused around the works of the author along with the chance to create Dream Jars to add to the BFG’s collection.
Whether they were dressed as an Oompa Loompa, Veruca Salt, Matilda or Mr Fox send us pics of your children to newsdesk@southwalesargus.co.uk or to facebook.com/southwalesargus
