GWENT basked in unseasonably hot weather yesterday, with residents making the most of some late summer sun.
Temperatures have soared over the past few days, hitting highs of 25 degrees Celsius in Abergavenny yesterday morning
Forecasters have warned that the weather will take a turn this weekend though, with possible storms and showers on the way.
The Met Office are predicting torrential downpours and thundery showers across most of South East Wales and Gwent today.
There will also be a chance of potential floods, with the chief forecaster predicting 30-40mm of water to fall within an hour.
A yellow warning of rain has been issued for Gwent.
