FIREFIGHTERS have been kept busy across Gwent through the night and into this morning, dealing with incidents involving cars that had been set on fire deliberately.
A South Wales Fire and Rescue Service crew from New Inn station dealt with a deliberately set car fire on Hafodyrynys Road, Pontypool, at around 8.45pm last night.
A Cwmbran crew put out a fire involving a car that was well alight on their arrival at the town's Llantarnam industrial estate, shortly after 10.30pm.
And a fire involving a car in a lane in Pantside, Newbridge, was put out by firefighters from Abercarn station at 7.40am this morning.
