Fire service spokesman says there was one person in each car, the driver of the Citroën got themselves out with help of firefighters.

3 people I believe were passengers in the BMW are unhurt. They declined to talk to me. Don't know what's happened to the Citroen driver yet.

The other vehicle is a white BMW, driver has a neck collar on & is still in the drivers seat. Driver side passenger door has been cut off.

UPDATE: 12.35pm
A part of Maesglas Industrial Estate in Newport is currently blocked after a two vehicle crash.
South Wales Fire and Rescue Service said they were called to the crash at 11.28am.
Crews from Maindee and Malpas are in attendance.
The crash is reported to have happened near Parcelforce on Greenwich Road.
Gwent Police are also in attendance.
