WELSH Tory leader Andrew RT Davies AM caused laughter at the Conservative conference when, as he came to the climax of his speech on brexit and proclaimed: "We must make breakfast a success".

The South Wales AM quickly corrected himself and later made light of it, tweeting: "Speech done at #CPC16...now off to sort out breakfast!"
"That's one word that wasn't meant to come out like that," he said, adding: "I'll have a word with the autocue at the back".
Twitter has responded with its usual speed and hilarity with one wag saying: "just as soon as he triggers Artichoke 50". The Argus politics reporter Ian Craig has weighed in, declaring: "Brexit is the most important meal of the day".
