NOMINATIONS continue to flood in from across the region for our Health and Care Awards.
The awards recognise the amazing work being doing in the health and care sectors, and we will be featuring some of the individuals and organisations that have been nominated in the run-up to our media launch on July 20.
Health secretary Vaughan Gething will be among those in attendance at the launch, which will be held at the Royal College of Nursing, as well as the event sponsors and invited guests.
With 15 categories to choose from, the awards aim to reflect the range of work done by those working within these vital sectors, and organisations providing services.
We can also announce that St Joseph’s Hospital are sponsoring the Health Care Professional of the Year category. Fiona Davies, the business development director at St Joseph’s Hospital, said: “It’s really exciting for us to be a part of establishing these awards in their inaugural year. Individuals working in the Health and Care professions work incredibly hard to provide vital services and we’re proud to be sponsoring an award that will recognise that hard work and dedication.”
