Traffic was blocked on the on SDR in Newport after a man collapsed in his car and was taken to hospital

A police spokeswoman said that a man had collapsed and his car was blocking the road.
She said they were called at around 5.40pm after receiving a report from the ambulance service that a 70-year-old man had collapsed on Uskway.
They asked for help from the police as the man’s car was causing blocking the road and traffic was building.
The man was taken to hospital by ambulance.
