A GWENT woman says a charity helped turn her life around after suffering with mental health issues.
Jackie Gleed, from Risca, was referred to Action for Children’s Family Intervention Team when family life became difficult.
She said : “I didn’t trust anybody at all and I was very isolated and wouldn’t go out anywhere due to anxiety. That was when I started working with a psychotherapist alongside the family sessions that were being provided by the family support practitioner.
“‘I’d be dead without them...that’s not being dramatic because that’s how I felt.”
