STAFF were left starstruck when actor Michael Sheen turned up at Nevill Hall Hospital in Abergavenny.
Film crews set up at the hospital last Tuesday where scenes starring Sheen, reportedly dressed as a porter, were shot.
The Hollywood star took time out from filming to pose for photos with staff at the hospital.
Amanda Watkins, a medical laboratory assistant in the pathology department, is a big fan of the star and said it was 'amazing' to meet him.
She said: "There had been rumours that he was coming after a film crew came last week so we were all speculating.
"Then just to see him walking out was amazing.
"I was a little bit starstruck."
And Sheen insisted on having photos taken with the adoring staff.
Mrs Watkins, from Crickhowell, added: "He was lovely.
"I waved at him and said could I have a photo and he was very accommodating.
"There were four or five of us who had photos taken with him."
