THE National Trust in Wales has appointed a new assistant director of operations for South Wales.
Lhosa Daly, who qualified as a solicitor, will take up the new post in September.
Welcoming her to the National Trust, director for Wales, Justin Albert, said: “Lhosa is so clearly passionate about heritage, the arts and the outdoor environment. She will be a fantastic addition to our senior management team in Wales, where I’m sure she will find that her passions are shared by of all us in the National Trust.
“We have achieved much in the National Trust in Wales in recent years and Lhosa is joining an organisation that wants to reach out into new areas of work and communities. I’m confident that her blend of experience, skills and energy is what we now need to ensure we build on recent success and make our work and places ever more relevant to the people of South Wales.”
Ms Daly added: 'I am delighted to be joining the National Trust in South Wales, because I have spent a great deal of time in the region, with many of the areas of natural beauty, such as the Brecon Beacons, Pembrokeshire coastline and beaches at Rhossili playing a part in my personal development. I look forward to working with all the special places that the National Trust in Wales looks after, and helping share the heritage and collections the Trust cares for.
"I’m also eagerly anticipating working with new colleagues, deepening relationships throughout the region and contributing to the next exciting phase for the National Trust in South Wales."
