TEN-year-old Brodie Hiscock is among the children from across south Gwent who would benefit from a new centre.
He has helped publicise the Sparkle Appeal, which has captured the imaginations of thousands of fundraisers.
Brodie, who lives with dad Colin and mum Tracey in Ringland, has learning difficulties, mild heart problems and has required physiotherapy at Eveswell Clinic, following a knee operation.
He has also received occupational therapy there, and will need more physio after a further knee operation which he is awaiting.
Mrs Hiscock said Brodie, who attends Ringland junior school, has been back and forth to Eveswell since he was a baby.
"The staff there have really helped him but it is difficult to park there and the building is not as good as it needs to be for children like Brodie," she said.
"A new centre would be marvellous, and it will benefit so many children and families if the Assembly supports it."
