TICKET SALES are now open for the South Wales Argus Health and Care Awards 2018.
Judges met to discuss the incredible work of individuals and organisations in the health and care sector, who have been nominated in a range of categories.
There are 12 award categories which aim to reflect the range of work done by those within the above sectors and organisations providing services.
The awards ceremony will be taking place on October 18 at Chepstow Race Course from 7pm.
On the night Dr. Pixie McKenna will be speaking at the Health and Care Awards event, which is sponsored by the Rutherford Cancer Centres and St Joseph's Hospital in Newport.
Best known for her role in Channel 4’s primetime BAFTA-winning medical series Embarrassing Bodies, Dr. Pixie McKenna is described as the UK’s leading female media medic.
