AN INDEPENDENT travel agency has opened its doors.
On Saturday, the Mayor of Newport, Cllr Malcolm Linton, cut the ribbon to officially open The Holiday Shack, on Chepstow Road in Newport.
Owner, Claire Fitzpatrick, said: “The grand opening was really busy, with a huge footfall and it’s been steady since.
“At The Holiday Shack we have a wealth of experience and knowledge. We don’t want anyone to feel rushed or hurried; we want a more personal experience for our customers.
“We won’t pressure people to book, because we want them to have the best possible holiday experience. We offer a more tailormade service, suited to any special requirements you may have.”

The Holiday Shack,is now open six days a week. On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays it is open from 10am to 5pm. On Tuesdays and Thursdays it is open from 12pm to 8pm and on Saturdays it is open from 10am to 4pm.

Plus, on the last Friday of each month, The Holiday Shack will host an evening networking event, giving customers the chance to chat with industry experts, from cruise staff, to airlines.
