Sardis News: The ladies' guild meets weekly at the Sardis Community Hall, Ynysddu, on Wednesdays from 2pm until 3pm.
If you are unable to attend a Sunday service, why not go along to see what happens at the guild?
A varied programme is planned with interesting speakers.
It is a happy, relaxed hour where people enjoy a cup of tea and choose some of their favourite hymns.
Organisers say you will also be welcome at their long-standing and very popular social morning where tea and biscuits are served every Tuesday morning at 10.30am.
It is a great opportunity to meet friends for a chat.
For those who are thinking of their health and wish to keep fit, go along to our exercise class for the younger women on Mondays at 7.30pm where the instructor weighs people if they desire.
The exercise class for older women is on Wednesdays at 10.30am and includes gentle aerobics and simple line dances.
For those who desire even more exercise there is a walking club who meet at 9.30am on Wednesdays.
The group of men and women walk the mountains and valleys and are most enthusiastic. Just turn up.

Harvest Service: Bethal Chapel in Wattsville will be holding harvest services on Sunday. October 14, at 10.30am and 6pm. A warm welcome is extending to all.
Care Home Coffee Morning: Craig Y Trwyn Care Home, Brynawel recently joined in with the largest coffee morning in the world in support of the Macmillan nurses.
Activities co-ordinator Stephen Adams said: "It is supposed to be a coffee morning but there is always so much to do in a morning here we thought it better held in the afternoon. It was a pleasant event for the residents and their families with home made cream scones and welsh cakes, which were absolutely delicious."
Coffee Morning: The Cwmfelinfach Residents Association will hold its monthly coffee morning on Friday, October 12, at 10.30am. Everybody welcome.
Birthday Wishes: Best wishes and many happy returns from family and friends to Beatrice Penticost of Cwmfelinfach who is celebrating her 85th birthday on Saturday, October 13.
What's On: Monday - Bingo at the Black Prince, 9pm start.
Wednesday - General knowledge quiz at the Forestier-Walker Conservative Club (Blue Club), Cwmfelinfach, starting at 9pm.
Thursday - Free pool all evening at the Ynysddu Hotel.
Friday - Karaoke evening at the Black Prince, Ynysddu.
Pioneer, Cwmfelinfach, evening disco.
Free Juke Box all night at the Ynysddu Hotel.
Saturday - Progressive club, Ynysddu Live Artist Sunday - Black Prince, karaoke, 7pm.
