A POLICE chase ended dramatically last night when a stolen car smashed into roadside barriers.
Gwent Police officers from Newport East tweeted this photograph of the aftermath of the chase, showing a dark-coloured Volkswagen with its front end crumpled by the impact.
Two people are in custody following the incident.
Gwent Police have been asked for further information on the incident and where it occurred.
